4 Signs Your Company’s Website Needs a Makeover

Old dusty websites from the early 2000’s just doesn’t cut it anymore. 1. Our Site is Not Responsive 

There has been no stopping the popularity of mobile search, ever since the advent of the smartphone in the mid-2000’s. Today, more than 80% own a smartphone, and have access to the web anytime, anywhere. So, if your website doesn’t have mobile capabilities, you are missing out on a huge number of potential customers or clients.

Does your website show up on the first page of Google when you search for a keyword that your company should show up for? No? Your website needs to be better optimized for SEO. Google ranks your page based on lots of different factors including: site speed, site structure, if it is or isn’t responsive, number of inbound and outbound links, and keyword usage. Updating your website, will automatically help your website to perform better in the Google ranking. 

3. Long Time to Load 

Have you ever been to a website that takes forever and ever to load? Did you have the patience to stay on that page, or did you leave? More than likely you left the page, in other words, you “bounced off the site”. There might have once been a time when web users were more patient (a.k.a. The good old dial up days), but those days are long gone. If a site takes more than 3 seconds to load, almost half of people will abandon the site. A high bounce rate is bad news for your website, and for your business.
